Keith Terry was statistically, the most prolific back G.W. produced in the 1990's. In 1994, while manning one of two tailback positions in G.W.'s Wishbone offense, he amassed nearly 1,500 yards rushing, averaging nearly 10 yards a carry. He also had over 200 yards rushing in a playoff win that year at GarField.

In 1995, Terry took wing as the featured back. He set an all-time Eagles record for rushing yards in a game with a 302-yard effort against Person County. He also had another 200-yard/4-touchdown game against Patrick-Henry. He ended up with more than 1,500 yards and 23 touchdowns. Terry scored 44 touchdowns in his three-year varsity career.
