the district.

The G.W. Eagles survived a determined challenge from the Patrick-Henry Patriots and held on for a 34-27 win. G.W. stormed out of the gate, scoring on long touchdown runs in their first two possessions to take a 14-0 lead. But P-H stormed back to tie it at 14. The Eagles scored on a long pass play just before the half to make it 21-14 at the break. P-H opened the second half returning a fumble for a 40-yard score, tying it up at 21. But Cameron Martin and John Gregory had an answer. Later. the patriots scored another touchdown, but they missed the extra point and still trailed by one. Cam and John would then put the game out of reach, hooking up for a third touchdown!
