A tale of two halves for the G.W. Eagles. In the first half, they gained nearly 200 yards against the tough Franklin County defense. Cameron Martin ran it in to give G.W. a 7-0 lead. Franklin County answered with a touchdown, but G.W. answered on their next possession to take a 13-7 halftime lead. But in the second half, with leading rusher Greg Thompson out with a hamstring injury, Franklin County clamped down. They limited G.W. to 42 yards of offense while scoring two touchdowns of their own, to take a 21-13 win...their first-ever in Danville.
