The G.W. Eagles wore down the E.C. Glass Hilltoppers, coming away with a 24-6 win in Lynchburg. The Eagles opened up with a 72-yard touchdown run from Marlon Walton to take a 7-0 lead, but two Glass Field Goals narrowed the lead to 7-6. Trevor Owen hit a field goal before the half to give the Eagles a 10-6 lead. In the 4th quarter, the Eagles embarked on a 14-play, 85-yard drive that chewed up 7:42 of game time. It ended with a Haylen Murphy touchdown. Later, a Cam Martin hit set up a Marlon Walton interception. Anthony Jacobs then sealed the deal.
