The Eagles never got untracked against a superior Thomas Dale defense. The Eagles failed to get a first down in the entire first half, and all but two of their drives were either three-and-out of turnovers. Despite that, the Eagles trailed only 6-0 at the half, thanks to a stellar defense---then used a 12-play, 83-yard drive to score their only touchdown of the game. But the Knights scored with a minute left, and the Eagles final desperation drive fell 40 yards short. |
