The G.W. Eagles ended a five-game losing streak against their long-time rivals from E.C. Glass.  GW rose a stingy defense and a brutally efficient offense to a resounding 28-10 road win in the 101st meeting between these two rivals.

The Eagles came out like gangbusters, going 65 yards on 12 plays to score on their first possession and take a 7-0 lead.  Glass scored a field goal while the Eagles' offense struggled. But on the final drive of the first half, G.W. used a long pass to set up a short score, putting them up 14-3 at the break.

The Eagles went to the air in the third quarter to go up 21-3.  Their defense continued to hold Glass while Neo Cabell scored his second touchdown in the fourth quarter.  A meaningless Glass touchdown rounded out the scoring.

Cabell rushed for two scores and threw for a third while going 10-11 passing!
