2024 Week 10

It wasn't a spotless effort, but the G.W. Eagles got enough big plays to overwhelm the Tunstall Trojans 48-6, completing a perfect regular season in the Piedmont District, and sweeping all five of their regular-season home games.

The Eagles scored on their first possession. But two interceptions kept the ball mostly in Tunstall's hands. The Eagles made up for lost time, scoring touchdowns on their final two plays of the first half to take a 21-0 halftime lead. One of them was a scintillating 77-yard run, keyed by an epic block. The other was set up by a Beastmode run!

The Eagles scored on their first four second-half possessions to put the game out of reach. G.W. had only 23 plays from scrimmage on offense---and seven went for touchdowns!
