Rough way to open the season

We knew it was going to be a tough season-opening assignment for the G.W. Eagles.  On the road against a state powerhouse with an almost entirely-new group of starters.  The talented Generals took advantage, scoring early and often en route to a 55-3 win on a humid August night.

The Eagles will try and rebound back on the road next week when they travel to Amherst County to take on the Lancers.
