The G.W. Eagles started off rough against a talented Page Pirate team. A couple of questionable pass interference calls and good field position helped the Pirates take a 9-0 lead. But the Eagles got a touchdown just before the end of the first half to trail 9-6 at the break. In the second half, G.W. scored on their first two possessions, including a huge touchdown from Marlon Walton to help seal the deal. They weathered a furious comeback by the Pirates to post their first win of the year, and their first win in the Dan Newell era!
