Week Two Dominance!!


The GW Eagles scored touchdowns on their first eight possessions while the defense turned in it's best performance of the year.  You add it up, and it was a convincing 56-7 win over the Amherst County Lancers at JT Christopher Stadium.

The Eagles got the opening kickoff and scored after a five-and-a-half minute drive.  On their second drive, they went to the air to make it a two-touchdown lead!

On their third possession, the Eagles used a new source of offense to make a three-score lead.

The GW defense held Amherst scoreless, allowing a mere 105 yards.  The Lancers' only score was on a kick return to open the second half.

Willie Edmonds led the Eagles with 104 yards on 14...all in the second half

The Eagles rolled up 499 yards of offense on only 43 plays from scrimmage!
