Myles Bennett stiff-arms his way for yardage

For the second week in a row, the G.W. Eagles stumbled a bit out of the gate but poured it on late in the game to win in a blowout. In the annual Shrine Game against Bassett, the Eagles offense struggled in the first half. They were holding on to a 7-6 lead late in the second quarter when they got the ball with two minutes left. That was enough time to extend the lead. In the second half, the Eagles found their groove. They went to the air to score on their second possession---then played a little long ball to take a 27-6 lead in the third. The Eagles tacked on two more scores as Hunter Byrnes ended up with a three-touchdown night!
