The G.W. Defense was lights-out for the second week in a row. They used a resurgent offense and some special teams magic to overwhelm the Person County Rockets, 41-7. Travis Jones got the fireworks started early, scoring on the first play from scrimmage. The Eagles added another as Chris Burton broke into the scoring column. Four minutes later, Travis found the end zone again...this time via special teams. The Eagles got a Tae Cobbs scores just before the half to take a 28-7 lead. In the second half, Demontae Ballard did his post Logan Thomas impersonation; while Travis Jones completed his trifecta. The Eagles defense grounded the Rockets, limiting them to only 50 yards of offense!
