A smothering defense and a practically mistake-free offense led the G.W. Eagles to a 21-0 win in their regular season finale at Halifax County. G.W. was stopped at the one-yard line on their first possession, but took it to the house the next time they had the ball. They turned the trick again in their third possession to take a 15-0 lead. In the second half, the Eagles continued to play smart football. They went to the air once more to seal the deal. The Eagles wrap up their regular season with a solid 5-4 record!
