G.W. showed no signs of rust after a two-week layoff, and they showed no signs of looking forward to next week's playoff game. They scored touchdowns on eight of their first nine possessions as they crushed the Blue Comets, in their most convincing win of the year. Leading rusher Micah Knight was held out of the game with a mild injury, but it made no difference as the Eagles got spectacular touchdown from a freshman, and a sophomore. Jeremy Motley had a career passing night and Chase Fitzgerald, Donald Lyons, and Brian Martin scored their first career high school touchdowns in this Eagle romp.
