If this is the last time these two long-time rivals hook up, G.W. made it a game to remember---for the Danville fans. The Eagles dominated both sides of the ball and scored the most points they ever had against the Hilltoppers, routing them 49-to-15. D.J. Benion scored a touchdown in the first quarter, and added another early in the second. Early in the second half, the Eagles went to the air to stretch it out to a 29-3 lead. After a Hilltopper touchdown, the Eagles answered quickly. Tim Moore scored on another pass play as the Eagles move to 2-1 on the year.
