Saving the best for last!

The G.W. Eagles closed out their season with their best performance of the year. Kenny Lewis scored three touchdowns and Greg Thompson had FOUR scores as G.W. pounded Cave Spring 49-0.  Kenny had a breath-taking 70-yard punt return for a touchdown to go along with touchdowns in the first and third quarters.  Thompson scored four times on runs of 1, 21, 37, and 4 yards.  The Eagles end a 5-5 campaign by winning four of their last five games.
