Just when you think you've seen it all. The G.W./William Fleming regular season finale had to be moved from Friday to Saturday. The teams were lined up for the coin toss Friday, but there was no one to flip the coin. No official were there! The game was moved to Saturday. After an incident-free coin toss, the Colonels forged out to a 3-0 halftime lead. But the Eagles took wing in the second half, scoring on a short run to cap an 11-play drive. The Eagles extended their lead to 14-3 on D.J. Benion's second touchdown of the night. But the Colonels found their offensive groove and iced the game with three consecutive scoring drives. G.W. hits the road this Friday to take on the Osbourn Eagles in the first round of the playoffs.
