The G.W. Eagles wasted no time getting on the scoreboard in a WVD showdown against the William Fleming Colonels. David Wilson took the opening kickoff for a touchdown, and it was all downhill from there for the guys from Roanoke. Tahron Goods scored to make it 14-0, then Justin Ferrell got into the act. The Eagles scored touchdowns on six of their first seven possessions to win their fifth in a row, and tied Halifax County for the early District lead.
