Micah Knight ran for more than 200 yards in a 41-13 win over Franklin County. He also eclipsed the 200-yard mark against Halifax County. He ended up with more than 1,200 yards rushing for the year.
John Fulton was a more than capable backup as a Sophomore. He also handled G.W.'s punting duties in 2000.

We liked calling 5'4" 150-pound Fullback Demetrius Jackson "The Midget". He's easily our favorite player, combining speed with unexpected power out of the Fullback slot.

Byron Martin was a solid performer
in 2000 at Wingback---he even filled in on defense.

Kenny Lewis followed up on a spectacular Freshman season with a solid sophomore campaign as a backup tailback and kick returner.

Chase Fitzgerald directed the 2000 Eagles at QB,
and turned in a fine season.
