Mike Brim
Mike Brim was one of the fastest players ever at G.W. He was a star
defensive back on the 1982 state champions. In 1983, he was switched to
tailback and led the Eagles in Rushing.
Mike went on to a standout career at Virginia Union, becoming one of the
school's few players to be drafted into the National Football League. brim
spent eight seasons in the NFL, including two in which he led the New York Jets
in interceptions.
Tragically, Mike Brim's life was cut short when he was gunned down in an
argument in Richmond in 2005.
