G.W. more than held their own against the third-ranked team in the state, but Thomas Dale used G.W. turnovers, a stifling defense, and one fluke pass play to top the Eagles 21-0.  Thomas Dale scored on a tipped pass from 66 yards out to take an early 7-0 lead.  Nick Fleming, who finished the night with 33 carries for 192 yards scored a touchdown to make it 14-0.  Then the Knights scored with a minute left to make it 21-0.  Greg Thompson was a bright spot for G.W. in his varsity debut.  The Eagles fall to 1-4 as they get ready for district play.
