The G.W. Eagles were heavy favorites coming into the game, and they played like it.  Despite some lapses, the Eagles strung together five touchdown drives, and substituted liberally beginning early in the third quarter.  Greg Thompson ran in three touchdowns, and Ryan Gunn also had a long one as the offensive line did a great job.  Dan River put in a few new wrinkles and moved the ball effectively, but the Eagles were able to keep them out of the end zone to improve to 2-2.
