The Eagles came out flat and couldn't recover against a talented and determined Patrick-Henry squad. Patrick-Henry scored first, but the Eagles took advantage of a fumble to tie it up.  P-H then returned the subsequent kickoff for a touchdown, but the Eagles answered quickly. P-H scored just before halftime to take a 21-14 lead into the break. The second half would be a see-aw affair, with neither team gaining much ground.  G.W. got the ball deep in their own territory with just a few minutes left, and put on a fantastic game-tying drive, capped by a pitch right.  That sent it into overtime.  P-H made their field goal, G.W. missed theirs.
