Frustrating!!!

What a frustrating game!  The Eagles ended two games worth of shutouts on the opening play of the game.  Bird scored twice to take a 13-6 lead.  But Kenny Lewis struck again to make it 13-12 Bird at the break.  The Skyhawks scored in the third to make it 20-12, but Kenny did it again, scoring from eight yards out.  Jon Fulton added the two-point conversion to tie it at 20-20.  Then Bird went on one of their long drives.  A fourth-down reverse pass to the five yard line set up the go-ahead score with less than 2:00 left in the game.  The Eagles drove down to the Bird 35, but an interception ended the game.  Bird controlled the clock, with nearly 38:00 of possession, and running 66 plays to G.W.'s 23.
