The G.W. Eagles braved muddy field conditions and an undefeated opponent to post their first win of the 2000 season, 28-0 over William Fleming.  The Colonels held the field position advantage much of the first half, but the G.W. defense wouldn't let them get past the 20.  G.W.'s offense then got into gear, culminating a 12-play, 83-yard drive with this run from Demetrius Jackson.  Jackson scored again on the Eagles' initial second-half possession to make it 14-0.  Then, the counter play began to work.  Kenny Lewis took it to the house in the third quarter, and turned the trick again in the 4th quarter to seal the win.
