A fine season comes to an end
The G.W. Eagles ran into a buzzsaw in the Northwest Region Division 5 semifinals. The North Stafford Wolverines scored touchdowns on their first three possessions to take a 21-0 halftime lead. The Eagles got a third-quarter touchdown pass to move to within two scores, but the Wolverines were too much. Brandon Daniels racked up 207 yards rushing as the Eagles end their season with a solid 6-5 record.
