Eagles drop homecoming

The G-W Eagles took it on the chin during Homecoming at J-T Christopher Stadium.   They lost to the Patrick-Henry Patriots, 30-to-7.  After a scoreless first quarter, D-J Benion scored from seven yards out to give the Eagles a seven-nothing lead.  But the Patriots scored 16 points in the rest of the second quarter to take a halftime lead.  They added two scores in the second half while limiting the Eagles to only two second-half first downs.
