The G-W Eagles came back from a two-touchdown deficit to take the lead with a little more than two-minutes left. But West Forsyth had just enough time to escape Danville with a 28-to-21 win. After the Titans built a 13-0 lead on a pair of touchdown passes, the Eagles went to the air to cut the lead to 13-7. In the second quarter, G.W. took the lead on one of the most spectacular runs in recent memory. West Forsyth scored to take a lead into the break. The Eagles' offense got close several times, but couldn't put points on the board. They finally broke through on a fourth down run with a little more than two minutes left. But that was enough time for the Titans to march downfield and win the game with :11 left on the clock.
