The G-W Eagles ended three years of frustration, beating the top-ranked double-a team in the state at Christopher Stadium.   The Eagles used a balanced attack to knock off Amherst County 34-to-7.   After getting two early touchdowns from D-J Benion the Eagles went to the air to take a three-touchdown lead at the break, scoring on a 17-yard catch by Alan Smith.  The Eagles scored two touchdowns in the second half, including a 32-yard scamper by quarterback Kevin Shuler to give Jimmy Teague's team their third win of the year.
