The Eagles' task was simple. Beat Glass and win the Western Valley District title. G.W. came storming out of the gate, weathered a Hilltopper surge late in the first half, then dominated the second half to take home their second WVD title in three years. The Eagles scored on their first drive, then blocked a Hilltopper punt and recovered in the end zone to make it 14-0! Glass came back with two scores, sandwiched around a Ray Bracey field goal to make it 17-14 Eagles at the half. In the second half, G.W.'s defense stepped up while Tahron Goods continued his hard running. The Sophomore scored two more touchdowns in the second half to give the Eagles a 31-14 win!!
