Yes, football is a team game, but G.W.'s senior running back tandem dominated the Parkland Mustangs in a Monday Night affair. David Wilson and Tahron Goods combined for 46 carries, 440 yards rushing, and six touchdowns as the Eagles came back from an 11-point deficit, built a 17-point 4th-quarter lead, then had to hold on for dear life; beating Parkland 44-36. G.W. fell behind 14-3 when Wilson scored to make it 14-10. Goods' fourth-down conversion gave them their first lead, and Wilson's second score built up a 10-point halftime lead! Wilson's third touchdown put G.W. up 37-20 with 4 minutes left, and the Eagles held on for a wild 44-36 win!
